Bio: After seeing Herbie Hancock perform "Rockit" live at the Grammy's in 1984, five year old Vaughn Wooster came home, cut a hole in the middle of one of his mother's dish rags, and placed it on his Playskool record player so he could scratch his Michael Jackson 45s. DJ Von was born. In high school, he honed his skills DJing local house parties and school dances. Once he got to college, he started passing out flyers for nightclubs, and as payment the managers would let him hang out in the DJ booth. It wasn't long before he was performing at those venues himself. Fast forward to 2010, and you'll catch Von rocking the decks at the Puma store in the morning, DJing MAC Cosmetic events in the afternoon, spinning at Levende for dinner, and then moving the crowd at Temple Nightclub until two o'clock in the morning.
